Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified 442A Industrial or 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in our facility and other projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for industrial and construction projects.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure proper functioning.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems for safety and compliance with local codes and standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to install and maintain advanced robotic systems and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician Certification of Qualification (C of Q).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial or construction electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical blueprints.
- Familiarity with Ontario Electrical Safety Code and other relevant regulations.
- Experience with robotics, automation, or electrical controls is a strong asset.

SENIOR CONTROLS AUTOMATION ENGINEER & TRAINER
Full-Time Contract
Compensation: $45 – $55 CAD /hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop comprehensive training curriculum and instructional materials for PLC programmingusing Allen Bradley Studio5000, FactoryTalk View, Siemens Step 7 & TIA Portal, Omron & Beckhoff PLC’s
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, lectures, and workshops both in-person and through online platforms. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Provide hands-on technical training on equipment, tools, software, and methodologies relevant to the engineering field. Ensure that participants gain practical experience and proficiency in applying theoretical concept
- Design, configuration and programming of automation and controls systems using PLC, HMI, Robotic and SCADA systems.
- Learn and adhere to company PROCESSES, SOPs and PROTOCOLS.
- Develop PLC code and HMI programs using Allen Bradley Studio5000, FactoryTalk View, Siemens TIA Portal, and applicable programming software.
- Develop assessment criteria and conduct regular evaluations to measure participants’ progress and comprehension. Provide constructive feedback and support to individuals to facilitate their continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other trainers, instructors, and subject matter experts to enhance training effectiveness and ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.

SALES ENGINEER (CONTROLS & AUTOMATION OUTBOUND TECH SALES)

Contract
Compensation: $50,000/yr base + 10% uncapped commission, Remote, regular domestic, and occasional international travel required.

Hybrid Role: remote & office based (Windsor head office)

- Complete controls designs and electrical schematics; specifying hardware and components.

- Develop and implement the communication and I/O interfacing between devices and systems
- Download offline programs into the machinery and troubleshoot I/O, communications, and machine function
