Driving the Future of Automation: Our Experience at the Emerging Technologies in Automation Conference 2024

As a key player in the industrial automation sector, we at Asamaka Industries Ltd. were thrilled to be part of this year’s Emerging Technologies in Automation Conference and Trade Show: Transformation through Automation, held on October 23, 2024, at Caesars Windsor. Hosted by Invest WindsorEssex in partnership with Automate Canada, the National Research Council of Canada’s Industrial Research Assistance Program, the Canadian Association of Mold Makers, the Canadian Tooling & Machining Association, and Ontario’s Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, this event was a powerful gathering for those driving the future of automation.

This year’s conference was buzzing with activity, welcoming over 350 attendees, 45 exhibitors, and more than 30 world-class presenters. As an exhibitor, we had the opportunity to showcase our latest advancements and engage with industry leaders, decision-makers, and potential collaborators. From manufacturers to tech innovators, the event brought together a diverse group of people who are as committed as we are to pushing the boundaries of what automation can achieve. At our booth, we demonstrated some of our cutting-edge solutions designed to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and improve sustainability for manufacturing and industrial processes. Our team was ready to answer questions, provide demonstrations, and discuss how our innovations could be tailored to meet the specific needs of each business. It was a great opportunity to meet with attendees and exhibitors alike, exchanging ideas and receiving feedback that inspires us to keep refining our solutions.

We also had valuable conversations with potential clients, partners, and even competitors. It was a prime chance to learn what challenges businesses in various sectors are currently facing and how our technology could offer solutions. By listening to the needs of the industry, we aim to stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and deliver value where it counts most.

One of the highlights of the conference was the keynote address by Paul Zikopoulos, Vice President of IBM Technology Sales – Skills Vitality and Enablement. His presentation on the power and potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in modern industry provided invaluable insights. AI, as he aptly pointed out, is revolutionizing every sector, and harnessing this technology could be the business opportunity of a lifetime. The speakers and panels covered a wide range of topics essential for the future of automation, including the latest in AI, robotics, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
